Nashville Parks and Recreation will host a Barn Quilt Painting class on Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cost for Nashville residents is $75; nonresidents is $95. Learn to paint your own 18"x12" barn quilt with artist Carol Mitchell! No experience necessary and all materials are included! Preregistration is required and space is limited. Nash County DSS will host a free community fair on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Nash County Agricultural Building, 1006 Eastern Avenue, Nashville. Visitors will discover what Nash County Department of Social Services has to offer. There will be community resources, employment opportunities and food. Free event open to the public.

The Spring Hope Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Dan Finch Studio Potters' Market, Nov. 8, 2025, 9 a.m. -3 p.m. in downtown Spring Hope.
